I have broad experience editing and publishing prize-winning and bestselling books, including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. I have edited books that won the Pulitzer Prize in fiction, history, and biography; a winner of the National Book Award in fiction; a winner of the PEN/Faulkner Award; an Oprah Book Club selection, and more than twenty New York Times bestsellers.
I started at Random House as a summer intern, eventually becoming Executive Editor. After some time away from editing, I recently returned to Penguin Random House as Vice President & Executive Editor, Hogarth Books and Random House. I’m spending much of my time working with the superb team at Hogarth, an imprint inspired by Virginia Woolf Hogarth Press, originally founded in 1917. Today’s Hogarth is focused on publishing literary talent of the highest quality. I also acquire broadly for Random House, my longtime home as an editor and an author. I’m always looking for writers and books that can live at the intersection of winning prizes and becoming bestsellers.
