David Ebershoff is the author of The Danish Girl, The Rose City, and Pasadena. His most recent novel is the # 1 bestseller, The 19th Wife.

2 OF HIS NOVELS HAVE BEEN ADAPTED FOR THE SCREEN: The Danish Girl is in production as a feature film starring Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne directed by Oscar-winner Tom Hooper.  The 19th Wife was made into a television movie that has aired around the globe.  Ebershoff has won a number of awards, including the Rosenthal Foundation Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Lambda Literary Award, and has appeared twice on Out Magazine’s annual Out 100 list of influential LGBT people. His books have been translated into eighteen languages to critical acclaim.  He has taught writing at Princeton and NYU and currently teaches in the graduate writing program at Columbia. He has worked for many years at Random House, where he is presently Vice President and Executive Editor.  He lives in New York City.
